- Despite his recent denials, many political insiders feel that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is preparing to run for president in 2012. Even if Christie does end up running, it’ll probably be more of a slow jog at best.
- Several tobacco companies filed a lawsuit over government-mandated warning labels on cigarette packages. The companies must be afraid of the graphic images scaring people to death, in effect cutting them out of the loop.
